Dr Sarah Underwood graduated from Otago University in 2012. Following a year at Waikato Hospital, working in the dental and maxillofacial department, she worked here at Dental Excellence from 2014-2018 before leaving to have her children Hugo and Fergus. She has been working in Matamata while the children are young, being close to the dairy farm she and husband Khan live on.
Her passion is creating healthy smiles by balancing the art and the science of dentistry. Sarah is focused on making her patients feel comfortable and relaxed during appointments, helping her patients maintain excellent oral health through prevention and knowledge.
